Jaeger-LeCoultre will mark its return to Venice this September at Homo Faber 2026 with a focused celebration of handcraft – four limited Reverso Tribute Enamel “Turner” timepieces and a new colour of the Atmos Régulateur Enamel “Colibris”.
Set within “An Atelier Alive” in the Sala degli Arazzi, the quartet of Reverso casebacks carry Grand Feu miniature paintings after J.M.W. Turner’s early 19th-century Venetian works, including “The Dogana and San Giorgio Maggiore” – fitting for an exhibition themed “An Island of Light”. Visitors will also see an Old Master painting restorer at work, a quiet nod to shared conservational values.
Across the way, the Sala Bianca hosts “An Infinite Birdsong” – three nature-led Métiers Rares creations. Two Reverso One pieces from the Vallée des Merveilles series combine enamelling with extensive gem-setting, each requiring between 125 and 160 hours. Alongside them, the Atmos Régulateur Enamel “Colibris” appears in a new colourway, its hand-enamelled panels demanding 230 hours of work.
Beyond showpieces, the Maison highlights transmission of skill. As a founding partner of the Homo Faber Fellowship since 2023, Jaeger-LeCoultre helps pair masters with emerging artisans for an eight-month programme that blends craft and entrepreneurship. A curated selection of ten co-created objects from the 2024-2025 and 2025-2026 cohorts will be displayed across the venue.
Homo Faber 2026 – designed by Es Devlin and gathering more than 500 makers from over 70 countries – runs 1 to 30 September at Fondazione Giorgio Cini, San Giorgio Maggiore, Venice, 10:00 to 19:00.
