Edox extends its tool-first CO-1 line with the CO-1 Bezel Lock Automatic, a 42 mm steel diver that does exactly what it says on the tin – it locks the bezel and keeps time under pressure.
The defining feature is the bezel lock system, designed to prevent accidental rotation when timing dives. Paired with a scratch-resistant ceramic bezel and sapphire crystal, it speaks to reliability over gimmickry.
The watch runs the Caliber 80 based on SW 200, driving hours, minutes, seconds and date. The solid case-back suits its workman character rather than exhibition theatrics.
Rated to 300 m, it adds a screw-down crown, a helium escape valve and generous Super-LumiNova on hands and indices for clear reading in poor light. The figures are straightforward: 14 mm case height, 140 g on steel, and a ceramic bezel made to be used, not coddled.
Edox has long chased water resistance, from the Delfin of 1961 to the Hydro-Sub and the CO-1 line developed in 2006 for offshore powerboat racing. This latest reference, case number 80137, keeps that brief tight and honest.
Availability is slated for January 2026 with a recommended retail price of € 1’750. Reference 80137 37GNR CANR for those who catalogue their kit as carefully as their dives.
