Frederique Constant The Elements Collection 2026 stone dials meet classic complications

Frederique Constant reveals the 2026 Edition of its The Elements Collection, a three-watch box set limited to 88, pairing mineral dials with the brand’s core Manufacture calibers. Each dial is a unique stone slice, so every set is a quiet one-off. The trio is sold together at select independent retailers for MSRP $42,285.

Theme one is material – onyx, heliotrope, turquoise. Theme two is mechanics – moonphase date, tourbillon, perpetual calendar. It is an elegant equation the Maison has turned into an annual ritual.

Classic Moonphase Date Manufacture & onyx: the 40 mm steel case frames a deep black onyx dial that makes the astronomy at 6 o’clock glow. The FC-716 in-house automatic brings a 72-hour reserve, with date circling the moonphase. Applied nickel markers and polished hands keep legibility crisp. Perlage and fan-shape Côtes de Genève finish the movement, seen through a threaded display back. Water resistance is 5 ATM. Strap is black alligator. MSRP $5,295. Reference FC-716ONB3H6.

Classic Tourbillon Manufacture & heliotrope: rarer stone, rarer caliber. In 39 mm steel, a green heliotrope dial carries the 60-second tourbillon at 6 o’clock, its bridge showing neat hand-chamfered edges. The FC-980-4 automatic uses a silicon escapement wheel and anchor, runs at 28’800 alt/h with 38-hour reserve, and displays central seconds over the cage. Finishing includes anglage, perlage, cerclage, flanks drawing and mirror polishing. Individually numbered on the upper bridge and case back. Water resistance 5 ATM. Dark brown alligator strap. MSRP $21,995. Reference FC-980HE3H6.

Classic Perpetual Calendar Manufacture & turquoise: the light, subtly textured turquoise dial carries seven indications in balanced order – hours, minutes, date at 3, moonphase at 6, day at 9, month and leap year at 12. The FC-776 automatic is the brand’s 34th in-house caliber with an updated 72-hour reserve, decorated with perlage and Geneva stripes beneath sapphire. Housed in 40 mm steel, 5 ATM, on a navy alligator strap. MSRP $14,995. Reference FC-776TU3H6.

All three cases are polished three-part steel with anti-reflective convex sapphire crystals and engraved see-through backs. Each watch is individually numbered, and no two mineral dials share the same face – a small gift from geology to horology.

As compositions go, this one is tidy: astronomy on onyx, precision on heliotrope, calendar on turquoise. The set places craft ahead of theater, letting stone, structure and finishing do the speaking. A calm chorus, well timed.
