Bianchet expands its Rotondo UltraFino with a rose gold edition that leans into contrast – warm metal against deep black – while keeping the line’s ultra-slim flying tourbillon architecture intact.
At its core is the automatic flying tourbillon calibre UR01, built entirely in Grade 5 titanium. The movement is black PVD treated, weighs under 8 grams, and is only 3.85 mm thick, which helps the watch stay at a svelte 8.9 mm overall. Despite the diet, robustness is part of the brief with shock resistance rated to 5,000 G.
A solid 18K rose gold rotor energizes the winding system and brings a warm flash within the openworked layout. Power reserve is quoted at 60 hours. The skeletonized architecture is not decorative excess but essential structure, presented with a clear sense of order.
The 39.5 mm round case in 18K rose gold plays up Bianchet’s language of contrast. A black rubber gasket under the bezel and a black lacquered crown carry a monochrome thread that ties back to the movement’s dark bridges. Water resistance is 100 m, which suits daily wear better than the silhouette suggests.
Finishing follows a haute horlogerie script within a contemporary frame. The case alternates satin brushing and mirror-polished bevels to articulate the geometry. Bridges receive extensive hand bevelling, the kind of quiet work you only notice when light glides along an edge.
Bianchet’s design philosophy reads as Form Above All – geometry as structure, not styling. Here, flowing rounds meet deliberate facets, a measured friction the brand calls dynamic tension. Black and gold, softness and line, emotion and performance share the same plane without crowding it.
