Frederique Constant revives its Classics Runabout Automatic GMT with a biennial limited edition that pairs Italian nautical spirit with Genevan craft. The 2026 release comes in two dial colors and is limited to 888 pieces per color.
This is a 42 mm travel watch with an elegant mood rather than a hard sell. The lines nod to legendary mahogany boats, and the result feels suitably leisurely – a wristborne slice of dolce vita without the swagger.
Inside is the automatic FC-350 with an in-house GMT module and a 38-hour power reserve. A smoked sapphire caseback reveals the movement and carries the official Riva Historical Society logo – a neat bridge between workshop and water.
The “Mahogany Brown” variant leans into warmth, pairing its dial with a genuine brown leather strap and a refined folding buckle. It reads classic and composed, like a well-kept runabout idling at the pier.
The “Navy Blue” model is cooler and more purposeful, with a deep dial featuring a vertical pattern and a contemporary black rubber strap with tone-on-tone stitching. Casual chic, with enough grip for real travel.
Two editions, one intention: a clear, usable GMT dressed with tasteful nautical cues. No noise, just a considered update to a quietly collectible line.
