Moser’s Streamliner Small Seconds finds its acid-green voice

H. Moser & Cie. dresses its Streamliner Small Seconds in Lime Green fumé Grand Feu enamel, a boutique-only take that keeps the architecture of the 2023 original while changing the temperature of the room. Same steel cushion case, same measured proportions – a new chromatic charge.

The 39 mm steel case remains quietly elegant, topped by a slightly domed sapphire crystal and matched to Moser’s famously fluid integrated bracelet. Thickness is a restrained 9.3 mm without the crystal and 10.9 mm with it. Water resistance to 12 ATM and a screw-in crown keep it ready for real wear, not just glass cases.

The dial is the event. On a hammered gold base, three pigments are washed, crushed, and laid in sequence, then fired twelve times to achieve a translucent enamel with Moser’s signature fumé fade. No logo, only applied indices and three-dimensional hands with Globolight® inserts. A lacquered small seconds at 6 o’clock, with a gentle circular motif, adds calm to the glow.

Inside is the HMC 500 automatic calibre, compact and made in-house, with a solid platinum micro-rotor on ball bearings and a bi-directional pawl winding system. Expect a minimum 74-hour power reserve. Through the sapphire back, the partially openworked movement shows an anthracite finish, Moser double stripes, and an engraved micro-rotor – engineering that speaks softly and carries time well.

Practical touches are in character: see-through case-back, integrated steel bracelet with a folding clasp and micro-adjust, and legibility that holds its own against the vivid enamel. Nothing shouts; everything aligns.

This Boutique Edition is available only in the brand’s nine boutiques – Shanghai, Beijing, Hong Kong, Menlo Park, Seoul, New Delhi, Singapore, Chengdu, and Chicago. A familiar Streamliner, reimagined through color, for collectors who prefer substance with a sly grin.
