BUBEN&ZORWEG Turbo safes, a Singapore foothold, and a Geneva showcase

BUBEN&ZORWEG introduces the Turbo Collection, a high-security safe concept shaped by motorsport cues and materials like carbon fibre. It is not a watch, yet it speaks the same language many collectors understand – purpose-built engineering, tactile detail, and a hint of theatre when the lights come on.

Turbo arrives in One-Tone Edition, Two-Tone Edition, Carbon Edition, Forged Carbon Edition, plus a Limited Edition. The structure is a MONOCOQUE in stainless steel for rigidity, with TWIN LANES to suggest speed. A circular PADDOCK, engine-turned GRIP, and a bold PODIUM complete the composition. Strip away the adjectives and you have a clear brief: strength, coherence, and a place to stage the objects that matter.

There is a quiet logic to this for watch people. A serious collection deserves considered housing, not a vault disguised as furniture. Turbo is forthright about its intent – secure, display, and do so with mechanical confidence rather than decorative noise.

Alongside the launch, BUBEN&ZORWEG opens a boutique at ION Orchard in Singapore. The space on Orchard Road presents the brand’s approach to high-security safes, watch winding systems, and bespoke work. If you live with your watches rather than warehouse them, a visit could prove instructive.

In April, the brand sets up at the Four Seasons Hôtel des Bergues in Geneva, 1st floor, from 13 to 19 April 2026, daily 9.00am to 9.00pm, together with partner Jacob & Co. Expect the latest watch and jewellery safes in refined finishes and measured colour. Geneva often rewards patience; this looks like a calm corner to consider the infrastructure of collecting.

Final thought. Tools that guard beauty should themselves be honestly made. Turbo appears to prioritise construction first, styling second. That order tends to age well.
